By Rite spirits never dampened as soggy weather didn’t stop

June rains played havoc with the local cricket season as a number of matches were ruined. Both matches in Division 1 ended in No Results giving By Rite one hand on the League trophy.

By Rite fancy their chances to become champions this year with one match to play against Greenies 1, the only team with a realistic chance of catching them.

In Division 2 only one match was completed as Chillies continue to prove that practice makes perfect. Chillies easily defeated JJ’S to move within striking distance to joint Division 2 leaders Aims Consultants and Greenies Too.

In the Women’s league, Panthers had their second victory in as many matches easily defeating 2011 champions Stingrays by 8 wickets. National captain Molly Ann Moore 42n.o and Wyvonne Forbes 18 featured in a third wicket partnership taking Panthers past Stingrays 93 with only two wickets down in only eight overs.
