If you show your face at the Red Eye Party at Jet on Sunday night (and Monday morning) there’s a fair chance you’ll be sporting some fairly bloodshot eyes later in the day.
Not that that is the reason for the name of this “ultra exclusive holiday party” – it’s a reflection of the fact that Monday is Canada Day as well as Constitution Day, which just makes some people see red – red maple leaves, that is.
In the usual style of a Monday public holiday, Jet will be opening its doors at one minute past midnight and they’ll be staying open until 4am.
In keeping with the whole red theme, to kick the part off in style, there will be a variety of red-hued beverages being offered at half price for the first hour: it’s two for one red wine and red martinis until 1am, so knock ’em back quickly! Then, in honour of Canada Day there will be some Canadian Hotties handing out test tube shots.
Selecta Renegade, DJ XS and DVJ Carter will be keeping things moving on the dance floor with a selection of crowd pleasing Caribbean and top 40 hits so revellers can dance the night away.
And as if all the were not enough, Digicel will be giving away on limited edition red BlackBerry Torch.
So get yourselves down to Jet on Sunday night. It’s just $5 for the ladies and $10 for the men – unless you want to go VIP in which case it’s $15 and $20 respectively.
Not to be outdone.Elements are doing their thing again as Partyrockers will be transforming the club into a glowing mash of fun – expect graffiti designs on the walls, glowing paint and more.
The Holiday Sunday Graffiti Glow Party starts at 11.30pm and goes on until 4am.
Young Feva will be shooting a video for his single Keep it Going and other music comes from DJ Von HD, DJ Lin and DJ Genius. Ladies get in free until 1am as do college students with ID. Otherwise it’s $5 or $15 VIP for ladies and $10 ($20 VIP) for the lads.
Have fun, be silly and be safe. It’s the last holiday Sunday until November, so be sure to make the most of it.
