The summer of 2012 has officially begun for the youth of the Cayman Islands and, much to the satisfaction of kids, schools are out, there’s no homework or waking up early, children are free from the constraints of school.
However, your child being free to sit about the house during the hot summer days without anything to do doesn’t seem like an ideal situation for parents who are out working. Thus, the summer camps are here and the schedule for each sport camp has been released.
Here is a list of the upcoming summer camps:
July 16 – 20 for 6-16 year olds. Camp starts at 10am and goes till 1pm and is run by Coach Andy Copely.
July 23 – September 1st for 6-17 year olds (this includes a range of camps all throughout the second half of summer.)
Summer camps have been a part of our community for years, and this year is going to be no different with the level of enjoyment and participation children will experience at each respective camp. Parents be sure to sign your children up, and children be sure to persuade your parents as there are limited spaces for each camp, and nobody wants to miss out on this summers fun.
Important reminders: drinks will be provided for all campers, but parents should pack additional snacks for their children as needed. Parents should pick their children up no more than 30 minutes after each camp has concluded for the day, and parents should ensure a good meal is consumed as the children will be expending a lot of energy throughout their sport camp experience.
