Rock legends cruising to new horizons

The Moody Blues has announced its first fan cruise experience for 2013, which will call at Grand Cayman.

The Voyage is a high seas fantasy camp for Moody Blues enthusiasts with nonstop entertainment, activities and fun, according to a news release issued by the band. It will be departing from Fort Lauderdale, Florida on 20 March for five days and nights, visiting Caribbean ports including Ocho Rios, Jamaica and George Town, Cayman Islands.

“Enjoy private concerts, Q&A and special events and activities plus surprise musical guests that influenced the music of the 70s and beyond,” the band wrote. “This is not just a concert cruise, it is a fan experience celebrating the 45 years of the band since [the album] Days of Future Passed.”

The Moody Blues is an English rock band which has sold more than 70 million albums worldwide. The band was formed in Birmingham in 1964 and continues to tour the world.
