Cayman Islands off season cricket competitions began emphatically in the Women League last Sunday at the John A Cumber Primary School ground.
A blistering knock of 62 by Wyvonne Forbes ensured that Panthers continued their unbeaten run against the Stingrays.
Stingrays’ bowlers had no answer to Forbes’ attack as she hit nine delightful fours all around the park. Aiding Forbes was Desrene Cox with five fours in 35 runs.
Stingrays were limited to 60 runs for 5 wickets giving Panthers victory by 69 runs. Desrene Cox returned with the ball and took 2 wickets.
