Bikinis, tanks and stilettos

Summer is coming to an end, so it’s time to celebrate with one last pool party.

Bikinis, Tanks & Stilettos, the Ultimate Pool Party kicks off at 10pm tonight, Friday, 28 September at Grand Pavilion.

Brought to you by Risque Promotions, the organisers say it’s going to be a very cool, very sexy event – and everyone is free to jump in the pool if they want to.

Two DJs from Miami who go by the collective name of Champion Squad will be flying in specially for the party, sharing their special blend of top 40 hits, hip hop and reggae. Local DJs Von and Ryan will also be there with their signature crowd pleasers. The party keeps going until 2am and there’s some great specials on drinks all night long: $3 beers, $4 Appleton and $5 Hennessey. What are you waiting for?

Tickets are $10, or $15 for VIP passes and can be purchased from Party Central.

We also hear there’s something going down at Club 7, which is celebrating its first birthday the same night. All eyes will be on the parking lot with international starts Gyptian, Munga, Honourable and Chi Ching Chang are coming down for the occasion. Cayman’s top DJs are also promised for the evening which is hosted by VJ Flava and DJ Preston.

Tickets are $20 in advance or $25 on the door and they be available from Champion Accessories, Funky Tangs and Reflections.

Exploding penguins

After all that you’d think there’s surely no room for more partying on Saturday, 29 September. But you’d think wrong, bucko!

For example, Jet Nightclub in association with Risque Promotions is presenting Ladies’ Night with all you can drink between 8.30pm and 10pm for $15. DJ Von and a load of special guests are involved and of course as this is Cayman we’re looking at a 11.45pm finish because we are good people and nobody wants to have fun at midnight on a Sunday do they? No sir.

Jonesian and Beatdown are at the Full Moon Party down at Kaibo which begins roughly at 7pm as the sun starts to go down cause you can see the moon better then, ya know. Of course, as this is Cayman everyone has to go home around midnight otherwise we will undoubtedly all turn into rampant, rapacious, rabid verminous penguins who will explode North Side and send it shooting toward Greenland. And who wants that? Nobody, that’s who.
