So we’re happy about this one.
“Valuing Nature: Lunch and Learn” with Dr. Michael MacDonald will be held Friday, 14 December, at noon at the Brasserie conference room in Cricket Square. Cost is $10 and includes lunch.
Dr. Michael MacDonald of the Royal Society for the Protection of Birds will be in Grand Cayman for several weeks, assessing the monetary value of the Mastic Forest to determine its contribution to the Cayman Islands economy. Focusing on natural capital, this talk is sure to be illuminating as this strategy is being applied to value natural systems like mangroves all over the world.
