Royal Cayman Islands Police officers from West Bay are investigating a flare gun shooting that happened around 9.45am Saturday.
The shooting happened in the North West Point Road area. Police said one person suffered minor injuries following the discharge of a flare gun.
One person has been arrested in connection with the matter, police said.
Armed police were seen on mid-morning Saturday stopping vehicles along North West Point Road near Bonnie’s Arch during the hunt for the suspect.
