Children learn of God’s love through science and magic

An explosive message of God’s love had many Caymanian youngsters making a commitment to serve Him recently.

The event of science, magic, chalk art and more, staged in a Godly fun event for the whole family, took place Sunday evening at First Assembly of God on Crewe Road in George Town.

From standing hair on end with electric contraptions to defying the force of gravity, illusions and more, children’s Pastor Roy Stone used fun and exciting tools to keep those attending interested and entertained while teaching God’s love.

Even church Pastor Terrance Bobb got in on the children’s play. He quite readily pitched in to lend a hand in trying to pull apart a steel ball after all the air had been suck out with a vacuum, much to the merriment of the church congregation.

The show might have looked like a circus act, but the message was clear, God is there if we only give him a chance to make a difference.

Ever since his life was changed, Pastor Stone has been using his creative talents in children’s evangelism. Growing up in the carnival, and a runaway who found himself homeless, he devoted his life to serving the Lord.

Along with his wife, Cari, the Stones have more than 20 years of experience in children’s ministries. Using fun and exciting tools, Mr. Stone keeps children interested and entertained while teaching God’s truth and love. He uses such tools as chalk art, clowning, ventriloquism and illusions.
