Mourant Ozannes trust conference set

Offshore law firm Mourant Ozannes will hold the third annual International Trusts & Private Client Conference on Friday, 4 October at The Ritz-Carlton, Grand Cayman. 

Morven McMillan, who heads the Mourant Ozannes’ ITPC team in the Cayman Islands, will once again co-chair the conference with Shân Warnock-Smith QC.  

“We welcome the opportunity to build on the great success of the event in the last two years in promoting the jurisdiction as a centre of excellence in wealth management and in demonstrating the strength and depth of expertise in Mourant Ozannes’ International Trusts & Private Client team,” Ms McMillan said. “We are delighted to announce our programme and speakers for this year and look forward to welcoming our delegates to the conference in October.” 

At the event, attorneys from Mourant Ozannes’ International Trusts & Private Client team will be joined by other well-known experts in the field. Key speakers this year include: Joshua Rubenstein of Katten Muchin Rosenman in New York, Clare Maurice of Maurice Turnor Gardner in London, Graeme Kleiner of Speechly Bircham in London, Anthony Poulton of Baker & McKenzie in London and Steven L. Cantor of Cantor & Webb LLP in Miami. Speakers from Mourant Ozannes include Jonathan Speck, Shaun Folpp, Ed Devenport, Lucy Diggle and Christopher Edwards. 

The conference will be hosted in collaboration with Butterfield Trust (Cayman) Limited, while Rawlinson & Hunter will be hosting a conference speakers’ dinner on the Thursday evening.
