Elderly tourist dies on Brac

A 75-year-old American tourist who was visiting the Brac was pronounced dead Friday just before noon.

The elderly man and his wife were snorkeling in the vicinity of Fosters Road, Stake Bay area where he collapsed upon reaching the shore.    

Emergency medical services arrived and the victim was transported to the Faith Hospital by ambulance.

Police said the couple were vacationing at the Brac Reef Resort.
