The annual Stingray Awards are held by the Cayman Islands Tourism Association in order to honour the industry’s star performers.
Nominations are open until Monday, 10 June.
This year marks the 10th anniversary of the awards, which will be held on Tuesday, 25 June in the ballroom at The Ritz-Carlton, Grand Cayman.
Similar to previous years, tourism association member businesses can nominate their top staff for the prestigious manager and employee of the year awards in the following sectors:
Allied, attractions and transportation (Allied includes retail, services, media, arts and entertainment)
Other special recognition awards are the Rising Star Award, for someone who shows promise in the field of tourism; the Long Service Award for the worthy recipient who has been in the industry for more than 15 years; and Lifetime Achievement Award, presented to the individual who has significantly shaped and developed our Cayman product and industry.
This year, the association said it would also be recognising members for a Cayman Islands Environmental Project for the Tourism Sector Environmental Stewardship Award for ongoing commitment for implementing environmental initiatives for conservation and preservation of the natural environment.
