East End MLA Arden McLean was returned to the Legislative Assembly Wednesday night, winning his race over challenger John McLean Jr.

According to the latest results, Mr. Arden McLean has won by a margin of 317 to 237 votes.

Although the results were still not all in, it did appear that Cayman Brac and Little Cayman voters would return incumbents Moses Kirkconnell and Juliana O’Connor-Connolly to the Legislative Assembly.

Both Mr. Kirkconnell and Ms O’Connor-Connolly were outpacing their opponents by roughly a five-to-one vote margin early on.

With 74 per cent of the votes counted, Mr. Kirkconnell had 278 votes and Ms O’Connor-Connolly with 222 votes.
