Home invasion in Savannah

Four masked gunmen tied up the occupants of a home in Savannah early Wednesday morning and stole jewelry and money.

Police reported that shortly after 1 a.m., four men dressed in camouflage clothing, carrying black hand guns and wearing masks and gloves entered the home.

They ordered the residents to lie face down. They then proceeded to tie the occupants’ hands and robbed the household of money and jewelry before making their escape.

The victims described the suspects to police as follows:
One had hairy arms, a brown complexion, about 5 feet, 7 inches tall, of slim built, with a Caymanian accent.

Another was short, dark, had a big mouth, of medium built and spoke with a Caymanian accent.

Another suspect was short, with brown complexion.

Police are appealing to anyone with information on the robbery to report to any of the police stations or call 800TIPS (8477) or 9497777.
