The five children of Anna Ebanks-Evans will receive gift certificates from the Water Authority–Cayman as part of the company’s annual charity initiative, Project Angel Tree.
Ms. Ebanks-Evans was 37-years-old when she disappeared from her workplace at the George Town landfill more than three years ago and is still listed as a missing person.
Her children have been living with a guardian since their father was deported.
The project will donate gift certificates for Cost-U-Less and Foster’s Food Fair/Priced Right, and will make a payment to Caribbean Utilities Company Ltd. for the children’s home. Project Angel Tree is organized by Water Authority staff who contribute cash donations that are matched in monetary value by the Authority.
Presenting the donation are, from left, Latanya Stephenson, Reina Scott, Wendy Whittaker, and Yolita Parchment of the Water Authority to Christopher Ebanks (back row, center) and, front row, from left, Cody Evans, Celena Evans, and Cruz Evans.
