A teenager charged with robbery in April has had his trial set for Aug. 4.
Alvin Shaquille Ebanks appeared before Justice Charles Quin on Friday.
Ebanks, 17, had pleaded not guilty the previous week. He is charged with a robbery that occurred on West Bay Road on April 21, when it is alleged that he stole a woman’s bag containing a wallet with cash and credits cards, plus other personal property, and used force to do so.
Ebanks remained in custody, but defense attorney John Furniss said he was working to meet conditions so that he could apply for bail.
