  1. This is very shameful and disgraceful for the Governor , and the Government of The Cayman Islands to sit down and let crime destroy the Islands , because of an inept police department that can’t and won’t do anything about crime.

  2. I don’t think its fair to jump the gun, and immediately blame police and the governor, for our crime problems.

The people are also to blame too, lack of trust between police and the public, doesn’t exactly help with reduction of crime.

Cayman has a tightly woven community, people are very afraid to speak out when they see something wrong happening, which in turn doesn’t exactly help police do their jobs in fighting crime.

And since they cant do their jobs, they get blamed.

You want to reduce crime? Start with yourselves and your kin.

I’m positive a lot of people know who these people are that are causing crimes on this island, yet for some reason they are afraid to report these low life idiots and hooligans.

  3. Mr Smith I agree with a little bit of your comment, no one is blaming the the Governor or the police, all I am saying that they need to step up and do their job. Yes Cayman is a very close knit community of people, this is the problem why the Governor need to bring a special task force that is not in this close knit community.
