A woman arrested at a George Town residence on Aug. 11 has been remanded in custody following an appearance in Summary Court on Aug. 13.
Sarah Elizabeth Day, 42, appeared before Magistrate Angelyn Hernandez, who remanded her in custody until Aug. 20. The defendant was not represented.
A press release from police indicated that officers had responded to a report of a burglary in progress on Andy Drive around 2:20 p.m. Entry was reportedly gained through a window.
Day faces charges of trespassing and burglary in connection with the incident. Trespassing is entering without permission. Burglary is entering as a trespasser with intent to commit an offense.
