Registration for the seventh annual St. Ignatius Golf Scramble on March 18 at the North Sound Golf Club is now open to the public.
The four-person scramble, with a 1 p.m. shotgun start, can accommodate up to 88 players on 22 teams.
Those wishing to play in the scramble should submit a registration form and $175 per player ($700 per team) as soon as possible, organizers said.
The entry fee includes the green fee, cart rental, chances to win lots of prizes, a buffet meal and an awards presentation after the golf.
There will also be competitions for closest to the pin, longest drive, putting champion, and best-dressed team.
The big prize of the day is US$50,000 if a player scores a hole-in-one at a selected par three.
Proceeds from the event will benefit ongoing facility development funds at St. Ignatius Church and School.
St. Ignatius is appealing for additional event and hole sponsors.
Donations of prizes are also welcome. All sponsorships and prizes should be received by March 11.
Registration and sponsorship forms may be downloaded from www.st-ignatius.com. Forms are also available at the golf pro shop or the school and church offices.
