The Ministry of Community Affairs, Youth and Sports is organizing focus groups to get input on the government’s “National Older Persons Policy.”
The focus group sessions will be held throughout next week, and anyone aged 60 and over is invited to attend.
Deputy Director in the Cabinet Office’s Policy Coordination Unit Deborah Webb-Sibblies said, “We thought it best to host the focus groups in each of the districts to ensure the older residents would be more comfortable speaking of the issues impacting them in their respective communities.”
Minister of Community Affairs Osbourne Bodden, said, “The more our seniors express their views and highlight issues, the better informed we will be when developing the policy.”

Bodden Town: Monday, Aug. 1, Savannah United Church Hall
