UPDATE: A 33-year-old man who surrendered to police has been charged with possession of an unlicensed firearm, possession of ganja, and possession of ganja with intent to supply, as well as failing to provide a specimen. He appeared at court Nov. 18 and was remanded to HMP Northward.

ORIGINAL: A police raid Tuesday at a Windsor Park home led to three arrests and found substances believed to be ganja and cocaine. A firearm was also recovered in the search, Royal Cayman Islands Police said.

Three people were arrested during the operation on suspicion of drugs possession and possession of an unlicensed firearm.

One suspect, a 22-year-old man, was released on police bail. The other two suspects, a 30-year-old man and a 20-year-old woman, were charged with possession of ganja and possession of ganja with intent to supply. They are due in Summary Court on Friday.

A fourth suspect, a 33-year-old man, surrendered to the RCIPS in connection with the same investigation.
