The Crescent at Camana Bay will see a flotilla of Christmas revelry on Saturday as Cayman 27’s Parade of Lights cruises by.

The annual holiday event featuring a Christmas concert, lighted boat parade competition and fireworks attracts thousands of spectators.

Event organizers encourage the community to come out and enjoy this holiday tradition with the whole family. The event is free.

Watch it live

The live telecast begins at 6 p.m. on Cayman 27 and will also be streaming online at

“Christmas Stories” is the theme for the parade, which has attracted 13 entries. The judges are sure to have a difficult time choosing the best entries. This year’s judges are Markus Mueri, owner of Abacus at Camana Bay; Jason Howard, host of On-Air with Jason Howard on Z99FM; Tonie Chisholm, former Miss Cayman Islands and a host on Cayman 27’s morning show “Daybreak”; and Matthew Sloane, co-host of “The Morning Bob” with Brad and Matty on Bob FM.

This year, Santa is coming to Camana Bay on his sleigh, so kids won’t want to miss their chance to have a photo taken with him between 6 p.m. and 8:30 p.m.

All of the action will take place at The Crescent and The Festival Green at Camana Bay. Janelle Muttoo, host of the “Daybreak” morning show on Cayman 27 and Kevin Morales of Cayman 27 News will emcee the event.
