A woman was arrested on suspicion of DUI after her car collided with a CUC pole and flipped over on Pennsylvania Avenue, along the Esterley Tibbetts Highway, near Nelson Quay, on Thursday morning.

The collision occurred shortly before 10 a.m.

Police said the woman was not injured.

CUC workers were removing the damaged pole Wednesday.

  1. We really need to do something about these aggressive electric poles.

It seems to be a regular occurrence that they attack drivers who are just driving along minding their own business.

Perhaps the driver could hold CUC responsible.

Or perhaps she could pay attention to where she’s driving!
