South Sound boardwalk construction begins

Construction of a boardwalk along the water side on South Sound Road begins this week.

Temporary road alignment changes are being implemented from the South Sound boat ramp to the entrance of Bel Air Road, near the “Flip Flop Tree,” the National Roads Authority advises.

  1. What ever happened to the sidewalk onNorth Church street that government promoted. The pedestrian traffic has to walk on the road immediately after the fish market. I guess I wasted my time and money in building a sidewalk past the fish market to save lives. Just how many pedestrians walk along south sound? A sidewalk all the way to the Wharf from the fish market is urgently needed and greedy land owners need put their hands in their pockets to support a community project.
