Just in case you thought Epic Day Entertainment had disappeared from the scene, never to return, think again.
This weekend, DJ David Penn, one of Spain’s best-known DJs and producers of house music will be headlining two events in Cayman. The first is at Royal Palms on Friday night and the second is a boat party on Saturday afternoon.
The parties will also feature local DJs Billy Corduroy, Mat Banx, Urusai and Lora.
Penn has been a leader in the industry for over 15 years, playing as a DJ for big labels like Defected and Glitterbox all over Europe. He is also recognised for his performances at the Defected Croatia Festival.
He was an omnipresent force in 2019. Ranked #1 house music artist of all time and #5 all-genres artist of the last 12 months by an unassailable points margin on industry-recognised website Beatstats, he topped and tailed a summer-long assault on the top of the house charts with two heavyweight releases.
First came his ubiquitous roof-raising remix of Pete Heller’s all-time house classic ‘Big Love’ which dominated DJ charts and dancefloors the world over, followed by ‘Stand Up’, a supercharged gospel house masterpiece.
In Dec. 2019 he was awarded Best House Artist of 2019 by Traxsource.
