Bodden Town FC returns with a win

Bodden Town FC returned to action Saturday night against East End UFC in the Cayman Islands Football Association President’s Cup tournament, winning the game 4-1.

It was Bodden Town’s first game in more than a month, after the team was suspended in late January following an assault on a referee.

Bodden Town’s Ricoh Brown opened the scoring in the 18th minute to lead the game 1-0. He scored again in the 70th minute against the East Enders. Two minutes later, teammate Dexter Munroe scored, followed by a goal by Martin Webb in the 86th, leaving East End to trail by four goals.

However, East End’s Miguel Pitta scored in the 88th minute to snatch the clean sheet away from Bodden Town. The CIFA President’s Cup semi-final games are scheduled for this Tuesday and Wednesday. Bodden Town is schedule to play Scholars.
