The Chamber of Commerce is continuing its series of free webinars to help local businesses, members and non-members during the ongoing economic and health crisis.
The fourth webinar, hosted in partnership with Berman Fisher, will take place Friday, 24 April, from 11am to 1pm.
The session will focus on financial assistance and planning, and provide guidance to micro- and small businesses wanting to access relief measures offered by government and other entities, stated a press release.
The facilitators, Lauren Christie and Michelle Fisher of Berman Fisher, will also provide practical accounting tips for doing business in a time of crisis.

Questions will be fielded by the facilitators and representatives of the Cayman Islands Centre for Business Development.
Chamber CEO Wil Pineau said it is the organisation’s main focus to help businesses get through the COVID-19 crisis. “We are hosting this webinar to ensure that micro- and small businesses have adequate information on how to access government’s recently announced relief measures and to provide answers to as many of their questions as possible,” he said in the press release.
This will be a follow-up to last week’s webinar when the Centre for Business Development offered participants information on government’s recently announced relief measures for micro- and small businesses.
The session will provide further information on the measures, including eligibility criteria and what businesses need to do if they do not currently have the required accounting records.
Business owners will also be given other practical accounting tips on cost cutting, cash flow forecasting and other steps they can take to achieve accounting and operational efficiency in this COVID-19 environment.
