Public Health has said it will be conducting COVID-19 exit testing for students, their households and teachers of Prospect Primary School Year 6 (Harris) on Tuesday.
Only students and teachers from this class, and their households, will be tested, Public Health said in a statement Saturday afternoon.
“This testing is for the negative households only. Households with a known positive are to remain home and follow the guidance from the Public Health staff,” the statement added.
The testing will be conducted Tuesday from noon to 2pm at the Cayman Islands Hospital COVID-19 Testing Clinic.
“After testing, persons are to return to your home. All household members should remain at home until you receive further instructions from Public Health or the Department of Education,” the statement said.
All persons are reminded to wear a mask.
”Your child should sit next to you maintaining social distance from other families,” Public Health said.
The clinic is located to the left of A&E, with parking available in the Seventh Day Adventist parking lot.
Public Health also advised that if, while in quarantine, anyone develops flu symptoms, they should contact their healthcare provider or the Flu Hotline. 1-800-534-8600, 345-947-3077 or [email protected]
