One man held after Bodden Town stabbing

A 29-year-old East End man remains on bail Monday after being arrested on suspicion of assault causing grievous bodily harm following a stabbing at a Bodden Town business plaza.

Police were called around 4:40am Friday, 8 Oct. after at least two men were involved in an altercation and one of the men stabbed the other multiple times, according to an RCIPS press release.

The victim was transported to hospital in a private vehicle to be treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

He was subsequently discharged.

The business plaza where the incident took place is located on Bodden Town Road, east of Lake Destiny Drive.

Police are continuing their investigation and is asking anyone who may have witnessed the incident or may have any information to contact Bodden Town CID at 947-2220.
