One man has been left nursing a head injury following a fight with another man at a George Town work site Wednesday morning.
Police, in a statement Friday, said, a 54-year-old-man from George Town was arrested on suspicion of assault grievous bodily harm for the incident. He has since been bailed pending further investigation.
The incident, police said, happened just after 8:40am, Wednesday (2 Feb.) at a work site on Kentsville Drive in George Town.
According to police, the 9-1-1 Communications Centre dispatched officers and emergency services to the scene after it was reported that two men were fighting and one had struck the other in the head with an object, badly injuring him.
The wounded man was transported to the hospital by ambulance, where he was treated for serious but non-life-threatening-injuries and later discharged.
