Business in brief: OfReg, TrustQuay, Appleby

OfReg adds two new board members

Natasha Bodden
Bonnie Anglin

Two new non-executive members have been appointed to the board of directors of OfReg, adding two women to the previously all-male group and bringing the board to full membership.

“We are very pleased to welcome Bonnie Anglin and Natasha Bodden to the OfReg Board of Directors. Ms. Anglin brings knowledge and experience in economics and public policy, and Ms. Bodden brings experience and insights in law, public policy and business,” OfReg chairman Rudy Ebanks said. “We now have a Board that comprises members of diverse and necessary skill sets, and which is more representative of our country and community. I look forward to working with two Caymanian women of such high esteem.”

Anglin has a master’s degree in business and Bodden has a bachelor of laws degree and is a practising attorney.

Minister for Border Control and Labour Chris Saunders said, “OfReg falls under my Ministerial remit, and I am very pleased to see two such accomplished and capable women join the board as non-executive directors following a rigorous selection process.”

Anglin and Bodden will immediately serve for a period of three years as non-executive members of the OfReg board.

TrustQuay launches cloud-based administration platform

TrustQuay has launched TrustQuay Online, a complete end-to-end cloud-native software-as-a-service (SaaS) platform for corporate services and trust administration providers.

The platform – for entity management, client accounting, general ledger and practice management – is available from any device with a browser and internet connection.

The company said this would reduce cost of ownership compared to traditional on-premise or managed service software offerings, where infrastructure, installation, and upgrades are managed individually on a customer-by-customer basis.
