Police have arrested two men in relation to Thursday morning’s murder of Cain Thomas, and a man and a woman in relation to the fatal shooting of Harry Elliott on Monday.

The body of 21-year-old Thomas, with gun shot wounds to the head, was found on an isolated part of beach off West Bay Road, near White Sands condos, around 1:30am this morning.

Police said they had arrested two of the “main suspects” in Thomas’s murder investigation this afternoon following a high-speed pursuit and interception by the Firearms Response Unit in North Side.

The two men – a 30-year-old of George Town and a 31-year-old of Bodden Town – are also suspects in a recent spate of armed robberies, police said.

The RCIPS seized a dark-coloured Audi car, which was described as “a vehicle of interest in the investigations”.
