Jamaica’s Munro College picked up a 3-0 victory over Cayman Hockey Club over the weekend, at the Cayman International School field to retain the Alex Horner Trophy.

“While Cayman came out best across all of the matches, we really wanted to win back the Alex Horner Trophy,” said Cayman Hockey’s Simon Barwick.

While Cayman did not capture the trophy, they did secure two wins over Jamaica during the competitive event.

Cayman first secured a 6-2 victory in the mixed match, followed by another win, in a men’s game which finished 7-1 in favour of Cayman.

“We’ll get another chance when Jamaica hosts us in November,” Barwick added.
