Police are hunting for a man who made off with an undisclosed sum of cash during an armed robbery Monday night in West Bay.
The incident happened at about 8:30pm, police said in a statement issued Tuesday afternoon.
Officers responded to a report of a robbery at a business on Finch Drive, in West Bay, where witnesses reported that a man entered the store brandishing a firearm, and demanded cash from the worker there.
He then left on foot with the money.
No shots were fired and no one was injured during the incident.
Police have described the suspect as about 5’11” tall of dark complexion, and about 25 years old.
He was wearing a black hoodie, black pants, dark-coloured gloves and a dark-coloured mask.
The matter is under investigation and anyone with any information is asked to contact West Bay CID at 949-3999.
