Police have reissued an appeal to anyone who may have witnessed two recent shootings.
In the first incident, which took place just before 12:15am on Saturday, 29 Sept. in the Birch Tree Hill area of West Bay, a man was injured in the leg and a dog was killed.
The man has since been discharged from hospital.
A second shooting, which happened just after 4am on Saturday, 24 Sept. on West Bay Road just south of Lime Tree Bay Avenue, left a man in hospital with gunshot wounds.
The man was taken to hospital after shots were reportedly fired from vehicles. He has since been discharged.
The incidents remain under investigation by the Criminal Investigations Department within the RCIPS. Anyone with information, especially those who were witnesses, are asked to contact the RCIPS Major Incident Room at 649-2930.
