A 42-year-old man was being questioned by police Monday in connection with the fatal stabbing of Ian Duffell in West Bay.
Duffell, 51, was stabbed to death around 11pm on Friday on Birch Tree Hill Road.
A police press release indicated Duffell had been killed following an ‘altercation’ in the vicinity of Captains Joe and Osbert Road.
The suspect was arrested Saturday on suspicion of murder and was still in police custody Monday as investigations continued.
In a press release Monday evening, police confirmed the identity of the victim.

Family and friends of Duffell declined to comment for this story.
