On Saturday and Sunday, 12-13 Nov., the Tennis Federation of the Cayman Islands organised the sixth and final tournament of the this year’s PWC Juniors Circuit.

The federation thanked PWC for its sponsorship, Cayman Islands Tennis Club for hosting the event, and tournament director Tariq Jacob for leading. It also congratulated all players “for their tremendous efforts as we recognise the immense amount of practice, preparation and dedication required in the days, weeks and months prior to tournaments”, calling it “an exceptional weekend for juniors’ tennis at the Cayman Islands Tennis Club”.

Events were held across three age brackets: Under 10, Under 12 and Under 14.

· U10: Winner Jackson Shambaugh, runner-up Shri Shibu, 3rd place match postponed and winner to be announced at later date.

· U12: Winner Eva Pierre, runner-up Noah Rajamohan, 3rd place Alex Johnson.

· U14: Winner Daniel Suico, runner-up Liliana Goss, 3rd place Elias Drobac.

The Under 10 final featured an entertaining match between Jackson Shambaugh and Shri Shibu which went right down to the wire with a match tie-break. Incredible quality of tennis from both these young players.

In the Under 12 category, Eva Pierre was greatly challenged throughout each match, however she prevailed, without dropping a set throughout the entire tournament.

In the U14 category, Daniel Suico had some hard-fought matches, but he went from strength to strength as the matches progressed and prevailed to take 1st place.
