Cayman take 1st and 2nd at Mo Bay regatta

The Cayman Islands Sailing Club secured two podium places during the 33rd annual Jammin regatta in Montego Bay, Jamaica, which took place 1-4 Dec.

Cayman team Adjusted won the event with nine points, topping 10 other teams including Cayman’s Yahoo squad that finished second.

The two local boats bested sailors from Jamaica and the US in winds between 16 and 25 knots.

“Special thanks to Seaboard Marine for sponsoring shipping, Montego Bay Yacht Club, Cayman Islands Sailing Club and all the volunteers that make this event possible,” CISC member Mike Farrington told the Compass.
