Police are on the hunt for a lone suspect following an armed robbery at a bar on West Bay Road on Wednesday night.
The incident happened around 9:25pm at a bar on West Bay Road, just south of Seven Mile Public Beach, police said in a statement on Thursday.
Police said it was reported that a masked man entered the bar through the rear door, brandished a firearm, and demanded money from a worker there.
The man, police said, then fled through the same door with a quantity of cash.
No shots were fired and no one was injured during the incident, police said.
The suspect was described as being about 5’7”, of slim build, and appeared to be in his late teens or early 20s. He was dressed in long dark pants, a black hooded jacket, a black mask, and gloves.
The matter is currently under investigation and anyone with information is asked to contact West Bay CID at 949-3999.
