Police have arrested a 43-year-old man, of North Side, on suspicion of wounding after another man suffered head injuries in an altercation between the two.
In a statement issued Friday, police said that shortly after 8:10pm on Thursday, 2 March, officers were dispatched to a report of a serious assault at an address in North Side.
“It was reported that two men had been involved in an altercation, during which one of the men struck the other in the head with an object,” the RCIPS said.
Emergency services attended the scene and the injured man was taken to the Cayman Islands Hospital by ambulance, to be treated for head wounds.
Officers later located the other man and arrested him on suspicion of wounding.
He remained in custody Friday afternoon as investigations continue.
