To celebrate the coronation of King Charles III this past weekend, Cardinall Avenue was transformed into a family-friendly party zone on Monday, a day designated as a holiday to mark the occasion.
Celebrations were also held at Scott’s Dock in Cayman Brac on Saturday night when hundreds gathered under the stars for a public viewing of the highlights of the coronation ceremony which was played on a large projector screen.
On both islands, fireworks lit up the sky to mark the momentous occasion.
King Charles was officially crowned in a symbol-filled ceremony in Westminster Abbey on Saturday.
