The 2023 Inter-Primary Cricket Competition continued on Friday, 12 May as week two presented some interesting match-ups that certainly didn’t disappoint as two centuries were posted in the boys’ league.
Results from the second day of competition included:
Zone A Girls: East End Primary defeated Theoline L. McCoy Primary 58 runs to 46 runs and Sir John A. Cumber Primary A got past Joanna Clarke Primary 59 runs to 36 runs. The Edna Moyle Primary vs. Cayman Academy game was postponed and Cayman Prep B was not scheduled to play.
Zone B Girls: St. Ignatius Catholic outlasted George Town Primary 42 runs to 40 runs and Cayman Prep A downed Cayman International School 72 runs to 58 runs. Sir John A. Cumber Primary B received the three points after Red Bay Primary forfeited their match and Prospect Primary was not scheduled to play.
Zone A Boys: Joanna Clarke Primary beat Cayman Academy 116 runs to 57 runs and East End Primary outlasted Cayman Prep B 128 runs to 71 runs. The Edna Moyle Primary vs. Theoline L. McCoy Primary was postponed.
Zone B Boys: St. Ignatius Catholic were victorious over George Town Primary 78 runs to 74 runs and Cayman Prep outlasted Cayman International School 68 runs to 62 runs. Sir John A. Cumber Primary received the three points after Red Bay Primary forfeited their match.
