The three men accused of the murder of Randy Kelsey Robinson on Shedden Road in George Town earlier this month appeared in Grand Court on Friday, 26 May, via video link.

Jonathan Woodhouse, 28, of West Bay, Shaun Jackson, 22, and Matthew Glasgow, 26, both of Bodden Town, each face one count of murder and one of wounding with intent.

During the brief appearance, both Crown counsel Scott Wainwright and defence counsel for Glasgow, Oliver Grimwood, requested an adjournment due to administrative concerns.

Justice Cheryll Richards agreed to the delay and told the defendants they were remanded into custody to reappear in court on 23 June for arraignment.

The murder charges stem from the stabbing death on 5 May of Robinson, 37, from Bodden Town, at Enverto Place car park.

A report was made to police just after 2am and when officers arrived they saw the man unresponsive and administered CPR.

He was taken by ambulance to Cayman Islands Hospital where the attending doctor subsequently pronounced him dead.

A second injured man, 40, from George Town, was taken to hospital in a private vehicle to be treated for stab wounds before being discharged.

Robinson’s death was the first murder in the Cayman Islands in 2023.
