Police found three spent bullet casings outside a bar in George Town after responding to a report of shots fired in the area.
The 911 Communications Centre received a call just after 1:50am today, Monday, 10 July, reporting the incident on North Sound Road.
Officers from the Firearm Response Unit were immediately dispatched to the location and arrived on the scene within seven minutes of the call, a police press release said.
After making sure that the area was safe, officers made checks in the nearby area and one spent casing was recovered near a bar.
Police secured the scene and a subsequent two spent casings were recovered from the scene during daylight hours.
