The Cayman Islands Tourism Association is seeking nominations for “hard-working and dedicated individuals” within the local tourism industry for the upcoming Cayman Islands Tourism Awards.

The 17th annual awards ceremony will be held for the first time in four years on Tuesday, 10 Oct.

CITA president Troy Leacock said, in a statement, “This is the first Stingray Awards event to take place following Covid and the closure of the islands to visitors. Therefore, we feel this is an extremely special awards ceremony that should highlight those that have achieved much since early 2020.

“Visitors are returning and it is because of the amazing service the hospitality industry provides these guests that they continue to return to our shores.”

CITA member businesses can nominate their top performers for the Employee of the Year awards in the following sectors:
• Accommodations
• Watersports
• Restaurants
• Allied, Attractions and Transportation (Allied includes retail, services, media, arts and entertainment)
