Six new beauty queens have been crowned in Cayman at the Our Little Miss Universal Pageant held 7-8 Oct. at the Marriott Beach Resort.
All together, 12 contestants vied in various divisions for titles and awards, including Queen, Princess (successor to the crown), Mini Queen and Miss Personality.
Winning in their age divisions were Kadeelia Kelly (3-6), Jah-Zara Atkinson (7-9), Setareh García Holl (10-12), Reyemela McBean (13-15), Destiny Williams (16-20) and Mackenzie Brown-Ebanks (29+).
Aubrey Welcome earned Miss Personality and Amelia Ellos was named Mini Queen.
All contestants underwent several weeks of training, including pageant coaching, interview Q&A preparation, modelling and stage presence, clothing reviews, poise, posture, and character coaching.
Each division winner received an Our Little Miss rhinestone crown, monogrammed satin-lined banner, a robe for a year, photo shoot, gifts, flowers and a queens’ weekend retreat. They will also make appearances in the community.

The event included entertainment by 2024 World’s Our Little Miss Kezia McLean, dancing to ‘A Million Dreams’, Cayman’s Our Little Miss Dakota Hunter singing ‘If I Can Dream’, and Cayman’s new tourism ambassador, John Gray High School student Rayne Harding, singing ‘Isn’t She Lovely’.
OLM is a natural pageant and has been running for the past 60 years. The World Universal Beauty Pageant will take place in Tusla, Oklahoma on 11-15 Jan. 2024 where current queens will compete with girls from across the world.
