A man was reportedly stabbed near a George Town bar early Friday morning, and the Royal Cayman Islands Police Service is seeking witnesses as police investigate the incident.
Officers responded to a call of a serious wounding at about 3:30am on Friday. According to a press release issued by the RCIPS Monday, the victim was stabbed after patronising an unnamed bar on Eastern Avenue, and then ran to another business to seek help.
The RCIPS said the man’s injuries were serious but not life threatening, and he has already been released from the hospital.
Police are asking anyone with information about the wounding to contact the George Town Police Station at 949-4222.
