A man suffered “serious but non-life threatening” injuries after he was attacked outside a bar on Wednesday, police said on Friday.
The man, who received a wound to his head, was injured outside a George Town licensed premises, police said in a press release.
The incident, at a bar in Dolphin Plaza on Eastern Avenue, happened just before 4am on Wednesday, 5 March.
Those who were involved had left the scene by the time police arrived, according to the release.
But officers were later directed by 911 operators to elsewhere in George Town, where the victim was found and taken to hospital for treatment.
The matter is being investigated by the George Town CID. Police have asked anyone with information regarding the incident or who was in the vicinity of Dolphin Plaza between 3am and 4am on 5 March to call 949-4222.
