Two Brazilian nationals, Vitor Domingo Valentini Dos Reis and Brenno Neves Florencio, are wanted in the Cayman Islands on theft and money laundering offences. Police and Customs and Border Control have issued a joint alert seeking their location.
The men, aged 33 and 25, are also being sought for immigration-related offences.
The RCIPS and CBC, in a statement Monday afternoon, said Dos Reis, who also goes by the name Marcio Vicente Rod Novaes, and Florencio are both visitors in Grand Cayman and known to associate together.
“If seen, the men should not be approached by members of the public, but instead call 9-1-1 immediately and provide as much detail and description as possible regarding their location and direction of travel, if not static,” the RCIPS said.
Anyone with any information about these men’s whereabouts is encouraged to call the George Town Police Station at 949-4222 or the Financial Crime Unit or 925-3491.
Anonymous tips can be provided directly to the RCIPS Confidential Tip Line at 949-7777, or via the police website.
