RBC staff helps with clean up

RBC Wealth Management’s Cayman office staff recently participated in the Chamber of Commerce’s 15th Annual Earth Day roadside clean up project.

On Saturday, 14 April, 28 staff members, along with their children and friends, embarked on a three-hour mission to clean up the beaches and roadsides of Grand Cayman.

The Chamber of Commerce reported that more than 1,500 people representing schools, businesses, church groups and community organisations came out in force to collect thousands of bags of garbage and debris.

Regional Head of Operational Risk Sheena Thompson said, “I would like to thank the staff who came out so early on a Saturday morning to help clean-up Cayman.

As residents of the Cayman Islands it is vital that we play an active role in protecting our environment and at RBC Wealth Management we fully support initiatives like the Chamber of Commerce Earth Day clean up that promote this.”
